hi there! Living in southern California, I am a fair weather condition buddy runner. So, when I heard it was expected to be rainy all weekend I wasn’t sure what to do about my long run. because it wasn’t that chilly (55-ish degrees) I chose to accept the wet as well as opt for it.

Pré-jogo. I mean, pre-run fuel = sunflower butta toast with chia seeds as well as a side of cat.
Then, I drove to my preferred community loop. As soon as I got out of the vehicle the rain altered to a drizzle! say thanks to you Jesus. I was expected to do 18 miles, however I understood I would have to play it by ear depending upon the weather.
It took a full 5 miles to get into a groove. Every single one of those very first miles I thought about postponing my long run to tomorrow. I was not feeling it. At mile 6 I chose to hang in there for one more loop. At some point I chose to cut it to 13 for today as well as that was a great option – as soon as I got into my vehicle it started POURING as well as got very windy.
